Clark brings to McBride Kelley Baurer a wide variety of professional experience, including five years at one of the world's largest architectural-engineering firms, two years as a professor of architecture in Versailles, France, six years as a partner in a nationally recognized U.S. ecclesiastical architecture firm, and nearly eight years directing McBride Kelley Baurer's Beijing office.
As Director of China Operations for the firm, Clark led numerous civic and community based projects. The firm worked with UNESCO and donated design services for the new Peng Cheng School for the Mentally Handicapped in XuZhou, China; the Ma He School in rural Henan Province. In addition, Clark has been a Vice-Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce in Beijing and a member of the Western Academy of Beijing Design and Construction Steering Committee.
In Versailles, France, Clark was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois' School of Architecture Study abroad program. His work included lectures, in French, to students at l'Ecole d'Architecture.
Clark is currently Principal-In-Charge for several projects in the Chicago office including a new building for New Moms, Inc. and a new Health and Wellness Facility for Lawndale Christian Health Center. Clark lives in Chicago's Logan Square Neighborhood with his wife and their two children.
