The Moody Church

Chicago, Illinois

The Moody Church, a vibrant faith community founded in 1864, is housed in the memorable Romanesque structure at North Avenue and Clark Streets in Chicago. While the building includes a 3,800 seat auditorium, classroom and gathering spaces are extremely limited. The new 55,000 square foot four-level Christian Life Center includes an enlarged gathering space, expanded offices, flexible classrooms, underground parking, and a green roof/patio overlooking Lincoln Park. The addition compliments the existing Romanesque structure while creating a greater sense of openness and light.
